“NanZhao” written as “南诏” which had been a name of powerful country locally since AD649-902. Here, XiaGuan borrowed that to name this new series since 2004 year. Relatively, it is a high level series.
This series has varieties on style like cake, tuo, and individual weight along with package. Some of them are made according to request from FeiTai tea company, then there will be “FT” before the product name.
Traditionally, this box has main color of bright yellow. In 2008 year, for the commemoration of BeiJing Olympic, it was changed to red color which is always taken as lucky color in Chinese culture.
Relatively tightly pressed tea body. Tea bud and hairs on that are obvious.

Sheng cha which will continuously ferment by complicate chemical reaction of Oxygen, Microbes, Enzyme and other substances contained in tea leaf. And this process is called natural fermentation or evolution which will get better effect under ideal storage condition of humidity around 75% and temperature near 20-25 Celsius with airflow and should be hidden from sun light.
