In China, it is always called “十shi年nian历li练lian” simplified from “十shi载zai历li练lian铸zhu造zao飞fei台tai号hao” which means “10 years experience makes this brand ‘fei tai hao’success”, since the tea materials used into this tea had been stored for 10 years till 2013 year according to the info released officially by FeiTai tea company. In English, we can directly call it “Love” or “2013 Love forever” printed in the middle of the wrapper.
Also we know these tea materials were picked up in early spring from GuShu(old tree) in deep mountain of YunNan province. And it had been fermenting all these years under natural storage condition till pressed into disc cake in 2013 year.
There is another blog written in 4th, May, 2013 year by “hansondu2013″ on domestic blog site “http://bbs.tianya.cn/post-enterprise-687394-1.shtml” tells that the author met the owner of FeiTai tea company Mr. Guo in 2012 year and had a chance to taste MaoCha (loose leaf) of this tea at that time. And Mr. Guo told author that these tea materials are from BanZhang tea region where has one of the famous tea of LBZ with sky rocketing price from freshly picked up tea leaf in nowadays. We don’t know if these info from this article is reliable or not. But there is no word of “BanZhang” appears in official message. Also even in this article, Mr.Guo didn’t say they will use 100% of this BanZhang tea material. So there is a big chance that there are also other tea materials blended into this disc cake. There is another opinion that BanZhang tea material has a ration of nearly 20% according to some tea reviews of tea sommeliers after they detailed analysis. Let’s put it away, especially we know we don’t know and won’t know because these are belonging to confidential secret of FeiTai and XiaGuan tea company. They have their full right to preserve some info and let others be open.
In Chinese language 2013 has homophonic word of “爱ai你ni一yi生sheng” which means “Love you in my whole life” or “Love forever”. That is also the reason there is another 201314 cake published in same year by FeiTai tea company.
